Daniel's Coop and Apiary
Daniel started his business, Daniel's Coop, in 2005 selling eggs from his 24 chickens to people down the street and at church. He got his first hive in 2012 and was able to end that season with two hives and 83 pounds of honey. Since then the apiary has expanded to seven hives with room to grow. Our honey has been sold all across the state of Vermont at numerous farmers markets, at several stores and has even been shipped out of the state.
Daniel Thibault
Daniel began thinking of ways to sell t-shirts that his mother made in the 3rd grade to raising chickens and keeping bees. He is currently pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester New York. His dad, Tim Thibault, takes care of the bees and chickens while he is at school but he helps on vacations and in the summers when he is home.
